The hot topic this past week was that fitness pro Jillian Michaels is leaving The Biggest Loser after the 11th season to start a family. Chicago’s channel 5 news reported she has endometriosis, a condition that affects more than 5.5 million women in the U.S. It was reported that Jillian can’t have children and is planning to adopt.

Many women have gained success using herbal supplements and lifestyle changes for endometriosis.
Endometriosis was one of the reasons I found Nature’s Sunshine after laser surgery was futile. I originally started on Female Comfort and Colloidal Minerals with great success. I have had customers on Monthly Maintenance with great success also. I have also found by accident that All Cell Detox works as does C-X with Una de Gato. I would now (muscle) test my customers on all of these to see which would work best for them. Experience has shown that it may take as little as a few weeks or as much as a few months for complete pain relief. When pain does comes along, Feverfew and/or Una de Gato takes it away quickly. A colon cleanse would also help (would relieve pressure on the female organs.) –Theresa
“Endometriosis is a condition in which the cells from the endometrium (the lining of the uterus) also grow elsewhere in the abdominal cavity. It can produce a host of different symptoms, including incapacitating pain in the uterus, lower back, and organs in the pelvic cavity prior to and during the menses; intermittent pain throughout the menstrual cycle; painful intercourse; excessive bleeding, including the passing of large clots and shreds of tissue during the menses; nausea, vomiting, and constipation during the menses; and infertility.” In my practice, I have had excellent results with Red Raspberry. I have not tried Blessed Thistle, but this might work also. This is not a cure-all alone. Try to balance all of the hormones, but remember that endometriosis is accelerated by estrogen. Anyone with this condition should not go overboard on foods or supplements that promote estrogen in the body. Endometriosis usually declines during the peri-menopausal years and disappears at menopause. –Glenda
I have used Pro-G-Yam Cream (a natural progesterone cream) with great success. – Georgiana D
