I was so sadden by the news of the Disney actor who died of an apparent suicide recently. He was a handsome, talented actor who I had been seen in quite a few roles (Former Disney Channel Star Lee Thompson Young Found Dead) I don’t know what drove this young man to end his young life. Depression is a condition that many Americans battle with. According to the National Institute of Mental Health Major depressive disorder affects approximately 14.8 million American adults, or about 6.7 percent of the U.S. population age 18 and older in a given year.

For those who may be battling with major depressive disorders or just a case of mild depression consider some natural remedies. My clients will agree Aromatherapy has an amazing affects on uplifting the mood, from an Aromatherapy massage to just inhaling the essential oils through diffusers.  General massage helps mild depression and the Aromatherapy is an added plus.

Before I lay my head down to sleep on Day 20th of the #31WriteNow blog challenge, I want to share the oils that help with depression and anxiety:

bergamot, cedarwood, cinnamon, clary sage, cypress, geranium, jasmine, lavender, lemon, marjoram, neroli, orange, sandalwood, rose, ylang ylang.

Go to my online health supplement site with Nature Sunshine products to shop online for these essential oils. Add the oils to a massage oil base, only a few drops are needed and use for a self massage or take them to your massage therapist. Also add to your bath water or inhale through a diffuser.
